Although the website has not been updated for a while, we have been busy updating the information in the database and improving the tools for collecting data. The key improvements include:

• Improved optimisation of images (smaller and quicker to download)
• New collections from Auckland and Bay of Plenty area
• Comparative Dating report
• New look

• Updated manufacturers/makers mark information with additional dates and "Godden Numbers"
• Establishment of new reference library
• Pattern keywords added

(February 2004)

• Two new complete collections have been added from Wynyard St Fale Pasifika Site (Auckland) excavated in 2003 and the Miner's Bay site on Kawau Island. A total of about 900 sherds, 900 images and 400 patterns are now in the database.
• More complex search function is now available (although pattern information is not yet coded with keywords yet)
• New Tools section including lookup for registration dates.
