Morea ()

Description: Technique: Transfer-printArchaeological Notes: The pattern mark and border patteern are identical to those on a plate found at Chancery Street (macready and Goodwyn 1990: 13, Fig. 4 C10), but the central scene is different. The name applies to a series of romantic scenes incorporating classical ruins, and has been sttributed to Thomas Dimmock & Co (Coysh and Henrywood 1989: 140) (Brassey and Macready 1994: 42, 56 Fig.25 C20).
