Description:
| Technique: Transfer-print | Archaeological Notes: This pattern is not listed in Coysh and Henrywood (1984,1989). The central scene of this pattern, which comprises classical urns and roses is similar to that of ?Milanese?. No pattern or manufacturing marks were present. To date, the examples of this design recovered from the Victoria Hotel, Chancery Street and the General Assembly Site were all produced by Pinder Bourne & Co. (Macready and Goodwyn 1990:14; Brassey and Macready 1994:40; see Macready and Goodwyn 1990:31, Fig. 4 C11). |
