Description: Technique: Transfer-printArchaeological Notes: Coysh and Henrywood (1989: 8) attribute this design exclusively to Samuel Barker & Son. No manufacturer?s marks were present. The two previously recorded examples of this pattern recovered from Chancery Street and Brown?s Mill carried the manufacturing mark of ?F. Jones? (Macready and Goodwyn 1990:14; Brassey 1990:40, Fig. 23c; see Macready and Goodwyn 1990:31, Fig. 4 C12; or Best 1992:73, Plate 25.d).
