| Technique: Transfer-print | Archaeological Notes: The only pattern with this name recorded in Coysh and Henrywood (1984:145) is characterised as a dark flown blue design produced by T.J & J. Mayer on dinnerwares. The Formosa pattern recovered from His Majesty?s is a flown blue chinoiserie design, but it is rendered on both bathroom and dinnerwares and includes the manufacturer?s initials ?S. B & Co?. No conclusive attribution to a manufacturer can be made |
