Wild Rose ()
Previous 1 Next
Description:
| Technique: Transfer-print | Archaeological Notes: Wild Rose was apparently a highly fashionable pattern from the 1830?s to the 1850?s. It is recorded as having been produced by over twenty individual potteries (Coysh and Henrywood 1984:399-400). This popularity is reflected to a certain extent in its common appearance within Auckland?s historic sites. |
