Description: This is the mark of Staffordshire potters, Ford and Challinor?s, Lion Works, at Sandyford, Tunstall, that operated between 1865 and 1880 (Godden 1991:254). According to Godden (1991:254), the printed marks incorporating the letters F&C were used throughout the works existence;
