Simon is currently a Research Associate at Te Aka Mātuatua – School of Science, University of Waikato, New Zealand working with Dr Fiona Petchey at the Waikato Radiocarbon Dating Laboratory. Alongside several colleagues they have developed the databases for archaeologists and other scientists to explore the settlement of Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific more widely.
