2007.160.71  Fire brick, plain rectangular frog  Rough purple fire brick with off centre rectangular depression frog with slightly curved sides and flat bottom.  Frog design along with specific colours of the bricks were used to identify makers and areas in the early years (1840 - 1870) of New Zealand brick making.

2007.160.72  Brick, G Mark  Pinkish/ terracotta brick with no frog and indented letter G  Probably made in Glenmark, Canterbury

2007.160.73  Brick, miniature specialist  Dark brown/red miniature brick with no marks or frog with one end shaped in a triangular curve and two holes punched through sides. Used in reinforcing or water pipe laying.
